Introducing "Red Boy"

This is the blessed result of dollmaking
with my sweet 6 year old son, Gage.
He was so excited to be *making*.
I did most of the sewing, he stuffed the parts and drew on the face. The fabric choices and design were purely his.
It's quite the cute little doll. His name is "Red Boy".
I am in awe and wonder of a child's imagination.
I am so blessed to spend little moments peeking into my children's minds. Another thing in my life to be grateful for.
Thank you Lord Jesus for my children and how much they teach me.
I hope and pray that you are all having a restful weekend.
In God's Love, Tami

  1. Oh so very *boy*!

I love it! I know it was made with much love by his mamma...
Have a wonderful beginning week, Tami. Love, your friend,
    Carrie.

  2. Absolutely adorable, Tami! My boys love designing and helping make toys like this, too. Now that they're getting older(9), they pass their creations on to their little sisters. Really sweet...and what a treasure to hold onto for the years to come! Have a great Monday!

  3. Tami,

That is darling. :) One of these days I'd *love* it if you did a little tutorial on doll-making here on your blog. My kids would love such a project, but I would have NO idea where to even begin! :)
