*One Thing* the project

After I posted yesterday, I started thinking that I should keep track of my *one things*.
I am in a rather forgetful state these days (hello 40) and I am finding that when I write things down they *stick* better.
I am going to keep track in a daily journal, but I will also post them every so often on
my One Thing tab at the top of my home page.
My only criteria for *the thing*:

My one thing has to add to the happiness, health, and/or well being of my family, my community, and/or the Earth.

My goal is to document this everyday for a year and then to look back and be encouraged at what has actually been accomplished, versus feeling like I never do enough.
Many of the things I will list are already established into the everyday life of our family, I still want to document them anyway, even if they are not new habits, they are worth noticing and remembering.
I started this on January 1st, so there are a few entries already.

If you'd like to join me please do, I would love it! Please just link back to this post. Thanks!

I hope this project to be a blessing and an encouragement to anyone who reads about it or even participates! Change really does start one thing at a time.

Bless you today, Tami

  1. I love this idea! I am focusing this year on the verses from 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 as my core verses for 2012 with the key word being "sow." I want to sow and invest into my family this year as I have never before. It can become discouraging day in and day out but listing the one thing each day will lead to a string of 365 good things that have been done.
